November 2, 2001 I do not understand it whether I can express it well because English is not a native language, but think that I will write it mainly on my Timor Dusky Sparrows. I am glad if able to be useful when you breed a bird. In addition, I will want to touch it about the Japanese world of a cage bird. I was born in Japanese Tokyo. There were a few people who lived adversely because it was very the downtown area in Tokyo. Therefore, as for me, it was surrounded from the time that reached the age of discretion by various animals and was brought up. There were a dog and a cat, but it was a bird that I liked among other things. There was a bird of various kinds with Canary and Zebra Finch, cock, Bengalese Finch, Gouldian Finch, Java sparrow to my parents' house. It was Green-winged Macaw that was left care me who was a child for the first time by a father. My father seems to have done the worry that I who was a child had quashed that it was a small bird. Green-winged Macaw of the pair that lived with aviary made a fool of me who was a child and bit you. However, when I caught a bill of Macaw by a bitten hand whether I was strong-minded and returned it, confidence relation was able to since it. The Macaws hanged down a young bird to me after several years. It was forgiven that I who let Green-winged Macaw breed got confidence of my father and bred Finch and Canary. I bred a kind of various birds, but devote myself to Timor Dusky Sparrow which came across accidentally now. House circumstances of Tokyo are related to it, too. I who left the parents' house do not own aviary. I let a bird breed with Breeding Box which comes to Japan from old days. Timor Dusky Sparrow does not hear that self bred either. In addition, it is the precious kind that you should store. This may be the reason why I am particular about Timor Dusky Sparrow. My Timor Dusky Sparrows seems to breed soon. I will give nest materials to them by a few days more. It is still Timor Dusky Sparrow with a little number of bred individual at the breeding lower part. I must pay attention not to make a blunder.

November 10, 2001 Timor Dusky Sparrow does very active movement. They grind much more intense movement than Java Sparrow. I realize it when I look at them that Java Sparrow is still another kind. It seems to be a kind the same as Java Sparrow, and Timor Sparrow is called in Japanese. Timor Sparrow is called Timor buncho, and Java Sparrow is called buncho in the same state. In the this reason, A human being misunderstanding exists a lot in Japan that is the same kind or subspecies with them. As for me, it was presented a natural branch as a perch by the friend who got to know in Internet. I gave it to the birds which did keep. It seems to have been a little thin unstable in big Java Sparrow of a build. They were not till the last tame with it. I gave up using it. They were just suited for Timor Sparrow. A branch bent moderately and it moved and seems to have satisfied them. Very active Timor Sparrow is easy to hurt a foot that it is done keep with breeding box. never fix a perch. Tokyo became very cold. My birds came to eat a lot of bait. They are going to let a body fit it in winter. One pair of Timor Sparrow began the making of nest really. They bred with seven young birds at the past. I want to breed in a different pair as me. However, it does not go well. When it was a chick, they without having bred were imported into Japan. It was a wild bird, but they are not afraid of a hand now. Because they were young, adaptability was good. They seem to be interested in a human being by the result. I do not get impatient and want to wrestle with their breeding in.

November 27, 2001 I was very busy for these several weeks. I was not able to do update of site. Bird show of Japan Style Canary Club was done on November 25. I helped it. Bird show of Japan Style Canary Club A kind of Japanse Hoso Canary and Makige exists in Japan. These are the kinds that Japan can be proud of to the world. Form of a crescent moon is an ideal a figure of Japanse Hoso Canary. The figure images a body of a woman. It is demanded the figure that Makige stood straight. Mr.Tanaka is famous as Japanse Hoso Canary's top breeder in Japan. He is my friend. These several years, his bird which bred are always top. He breeds with gouldian finch. Those birds are top class in Japan, too. Mr.Nakamura is top breeder of Makige. I met him for the first time in bird show. His impression is very tender. Mr.Ishiwata who is a president of Japan Style Canary Club is a very kind person. It was the several time that met him. It is the person who always smiles. He is very a human being with a natural virtue. I did a meeting of the chief of editing and a column of bird magazine in bird show. He came for coverage. I occasionally write a column in japan. I write a column introducing homepage of a bird in the world this time. I intend to introduce site linking to. It was decided that it was published serially. It will be carried from next year. I must write it from now on. I turn a bird into mediation and interchange with various people. It is very significant.

December 8, 2001 Denshu and Reisen of Timor sparrow lay five eggs. They are very excellent pairs. When I did keep of them, they went bald. It was not a thing caused by bacillus and Eumycetes. Perhaps hormone abnormality is a cause. When they did last time breeding, I put a young bird in breeding box much more the same as them. They overcame it for a long term by bringing up a young bird. They have a very beautiful feather currently. Finch is the breeding season in Japan. Breeding is a splendid present to invent new life. However, we must not forget that it is death and a next door simultaneously. A Japanese is a Buddhist mainly. However, we were the nations who believed that spirit originally dwelled in all things. We worship all of them. And we thank them. In other words a Japanese does not have a feeling of clear religion. We celebrate Christmas. Row of houses along a city street of Tokyo becomes full by the decoration of Christmas, too. People look forward to Christmas. There is the New Year in the sequel.This is done according to Japanese tradition. It is the season that is busy for me.

December 30, 2001 Christmas is over, and it is the New Year soon. An egg of timor sparrows in breeding is a condition of a halt egg. They were very excellent pairs, but did not go well this time. Perhaps the reason is because it did acclimate in environment for the last breeding. They came to act in a state the same as the bird which fitted other hands. When a person drew near, they entered a nest and were concealed. They became go to draw near by a person now. Their interest became turn to the outside and a person in addition to the inside of breeding box. It is disappointing that breeding made a blunder, but it is my joy to look at the figure that they are cheerful. I expect it in next breeding. I do preparations to have the New Year. It is a ceremony of the traditional Japanese New Year. I clean it to all over the world of a house by 31st and make special cooking. The cooking is decided traditionally. It is good foods of an omen. We install a decoration of pine and bamboo to an entrance. These are considered to be a good plant of an omen very much in Japan. We eat buckwheat noodles as a custom of a Japanese on 31st. This is a custom nervous about omens. We consider the first sunrise of a new year to become it in the New Year. And We eat the dish which We prepared and swallow up sake. And We go and worship at a Shinto shrine of a neighborhood. It is the time when people of a relative gather. I can meet the person who cannot meet usually. A Japanese traveling abroad increases recently, but most Japanese do it in this way and celebrate the New Year. Health was able to spend me and the family and my birds this year. It is a very nice thing. Please have the wonderful New Year.
