April 15, 2002 For this one month, I did moving. The stress to birds by an environmental change would be a really big thing. They do not finish being yet used to environment by now that passed from moving for two weeks either. I did not do a freed bird for around 1 week since I came to the new home. I devoted myself to their being used to environment, but it is still the condition that is not enough. Originally timor sparrow was nervous as a kind, but seems to have become more nervous. It is Tamajiman and Harushika of white java sparrow that a change was found most. They become old with java sparrow. Their "old age" came to appear conspicuously since I did moving. They in particular would have result of molting, but they did not want to appear from much breeding box and did not remain with bathing even if I did a freed bird. The growth of a bill of the top came to show Harushika. A bill does not grow generally, and It extends to only part of the left side. I will not be good that 1 degree is not below it because it considerably grew. However, I do not want to finish remaining with a bill. If there is not a hindrance to eat it even if a bill grows, I think that I do not have to cut it. Even if a bill grows, it is sharpened naturally. I want to avoid having given stress to them than what by cutting their bill. If a bird in particular is old, can beat is not cautious. I decide to already examine a condition for a while. It was java sparrow that adapted to an environmental change most. It was the individual which fitted a hand in particular smartly. If a face of an owner is the same, they seem to feel relieved. It is a sense as a dog. Timor sparrows F1 and 75% timor sparrows considerably fitted environment now, too. However, they cling to my hand than before whether they feel lost in the environment where they are not used to. Even if now does a freed bird of them, they do it to enter it in my hand. Because there are eight birds which are going to enter it in my hand, they quarrel mutually. It is timor sparrows now that is not used to environment. In particular, as for the birds of a former wild bird, wariness is really strong. I would like them to be as soon as possible used to environment. I made much of environment for birds when I decided the new home. Therefore it is a very comfortable condition to them. I still pay them considerable attention in a freed bird. In addition, temperature is very different from Tokyo. Because I oneself cannot get hold of a pattern of a change of the temperature, I take pains in management temperature currently. All my birds have molting currently. A feather of amazing quantity falls out. Because intense molting is healthy evidence, I feel relieved. It is the photograph which Wibisono that is my Indonesian friend sent to me the other day. He has timor sparrow. I think that shine of a feather is a good bird very much. Perhaps a net to be able to see behind a bird is made with a plastic. This is suited for intense timor sparrow of a quantity of exercise. We can hurt their foot when I own them with a metal basket.

April 21, 2002 In the Japanese lease house, keeping of a pet is basically impossible. Because an article of an apartment house built by the Japan Housing Corporation prohibited it as for this old days, They are considered to be custom. It increased recently that an apartment admitted keeping of pets, but it was difficult that I looked for it than it thought. Even an article written clearly that a pet is possible can live. At first a landlord hears a kind of a pet and judges it. Time fitted the result that there was not, but it is nothing new to say realized difficulty of looking for the house which can live together with a pet. I live with 30 birds, but this number is never a few things currently. I thought that it was written in a contract that "pet keeping was possible."I seemed to let you spre ad it and knew the thing that there was not. A pet is basically impossible, and it seems to be to admit as an exception. "But it was added to a margin that breeding of java sparrows was possible." It was terrible to decide a house, but real moving was terrible. How do I carry this a large quantity of bird and breeding boxes? Of course I cannot ask a moving supplier. I cannot but do it by oneself, but a garden plant is large quantities in addition to a bird, too. Because I cultivate a rose, a bowl is very big. It becomes impossible weight and size to already lift to me. There is it into a 4 bowl what. I have two friends come by car after all, and oneself has decided to borrow a one box of a 1t car by a rent-a-car. Actually, I became it when loaded with a load and noticed it not being put fellow breeding boxes. It is a problem if they are changed by vibration. Breeding boxes and some of a garden plant were put on a 1t car after all. I must carry two personal computers and this used an assistant driver's seat of a car of a friend and was able to pick it up somehow. As for my property, there seem to have been only a birds and a garden plants and a personal computers. Because it was the last week in March that I did moving, a road was crowded by a moving rush very much. It has taken a plan to arrive at in around 1 hour usually for three hours. Meanwhile, I paid attention very much not to vibrate if possible. It was still fear for a bird because it moved to the place that it did not know. However, as for one part of birds, the nervous system seems to have been big. They began a large chorus in the inside of car in a traffic jam. In addition to a member of a chorus party, it is peace of mind by the condition that fitted environment besides some birds currently. Moving is terrible for a person, but thinks that it was for a bird and a terrible thing. (chorus party to remove) Because a pet is possible in the current apartment, the whole family lives with a pet. Such an apartment is really rare. Very comfortable with what use each tenant each spirit. It is clean, and it is kept than the article that living together is impossible comfortably. It is pet living together hated from a landlord, but thinks that it is up to care of an owner what let we recognize living together and not to let we authorize it adversely. Birds at the new home
